The world is changing in significant ways, and India's youth are poised to make the most out of it. The Youth are action-oriented, having the ability to think creatively and influences positive change across society. Youth are at the fore-front in using technology in all spheres and serves as a critical component in the larger vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Hence, there is a need for introducing new policy which can suggest appropriate policy interventions taking into account the impact of digital technology on education, work & employment, how the society will experience the fast paced changes and how full or needful engagement of the youth will create a responsible society, very well led and placed on the track of process & development.

Accordingly, the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Government of India has drafted the National Youth Policy 2023-32(NYP 2023-32) with the vision to synergize the hopes and aspirations of India's youth to enable harmonious growth of society; to harness the energies of youth more effectively towards inclusive economic growth & responsible governance; and to build an enabling environment where youth can come together, persevere, and work relentlessly with their utmost strength towards the making of a new India.

In order to ensure the participation of the stakeholders in policy making process, the Department of Youth Affairs seeks comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP 2023-32 from all stakeholders.

Youth are the future of our country. Here is some of my suggestion for national youth policy.

1. India have a lot of water bodies. Insite of so much available sweet water, India is lagging in fish and sea food production. Youth should be encouraged to join this field.
2. Drug is a very big problem for our youth, lots of foks are addicted to drug, alcohol & tobacco product these days. We need to improve this.
3. Indian youth are more interested to join engineering than physics research. We need to encourage youth to join physics research in the filed like particle physics. There are very few Indian working in this field.
4. We should encourage youth to join more in non-conventional science field like forensic researcher, astronomy, planetary geology.

Sir,
It is institution, nabour, situations, locality & family are responsible to built a good citizen.
Youths always puzzle and with low vision to decide or to know the good. Some time unsocial activities attraction destroy their bright future. We have to save them. Poltics has destroy our Education system.
Sir I can give one example but I can't prove the same.
In my childhood my teacher order all students to sleep with him for reading in morning. So we all sleep with him for mote than 3 months untill end of examination is ove. No-one will believe that teacher sleep in middle boys one-sided & girls in other sides.
After 20 years when I meet him just moving without any interest with teaching. I just touch his feet and ask him with request about his changes . I found that he was in service and moving with leader of political party. So the society has lost a great teacher but the political party has found a best follower.

Sir, kindly save education system from party'influence.

National Youth Day, also known as Vivekananda Jayanti, is observed on January 12th, Swami Vivekananda’s birthday. This day was declared National Youth Day by the Indian government in 1984, and it has been celebrated in India every year since 1985.

Youth is the country’s building block that propels it forward on the path to success. The country’s most valuable asset is its youth, who have a significant influence on how our future will be. Ideas and enthusiasm lubricate the country’s machinery with a slew of innovative ideas. As a result, it is critical to recognize the importance of youth and their valuable contributions to the country. The youth instills zeal and energy in the country, which benefits it in a variety of ways.

Young people who thrive on having their own opinions pave the way for social reformation and liberal thinking. As a result of these opinions, society improves. National Youth Day is observed in India to honor Swami Vivekanand, India’s most extraordinary leader.

I think we should make our society more skill-based rather than ascribed or merit-based. This means that we should encourage and reward people for their talents and passions, not just their academic qualifications or social status.

One way to do this is to conduct national competitions in various fields, such as food making, archery, ayurvedic medicine, technology, dance, and so on. These competitions would invite participants from all over India, including tribal people and other marginalized groups. The winners would be chosen based on their skills and creativity, not on their background or education. They would also receive money and fame, which would enable them to open their own institutions and teach others their skills.

Another way to do this is to make these skills equivalent to a degree from an affiliated college. This means that students can join these institutions after 10th grade, without having to spend money on expensive colleges. This would also reduce the burden.
