Why not allocate large fallow areas in our country for planting and nurturing of trees. Allocate people to look after,care for and nurture those till they become full fledged forests. The people allocated to the task have no other work than to look after those plants and trees till they become a full forested ecosystem. This can be done one patch of land at a time so that over a period of one lifetime, that is when our children inherit this earth we can give them something other than global warming and garbage. What we need is just some pieces of land and a few people who are willing to look after it for a salary. I see so many good gardners wasting their talents and becoming day labourers because of lack of proper opportunities. So why not this? This will kill two birds with one stone.
