In today’s connected world, the internet powers our daily lives—social media, shopping, banking, and gaming. But convenience also brings cyber risks. Digital safety means protecting your data and online identity through strong passwords, two-factor authentication, cautious clicking, and privacy control. Think of your online space like your home—keep it locked and protected.
Ria: I share everything online… it’s so easy!
Aman: Easy, yes. Safe? Not always.
With AI helping detect scams, frauds, and fake content, we can make the internet safer for all. Stay aware, stay secure, and help build a Cyber-Safe India.

Cybercrime in India is rising fast — from investment scams, fake job offers, and trading frauds to sextortion, courier fraud, and digital arrest. While awareness about fake links and OTP sharing is growing, one critical issue remains ignored: mobile security updates.
Most Indians use smartphones for UPI, Aadhaar, and banking, but many devices stop getting security patches after 1–2 years, even though people use them for 4–5 years. Outdated phones become easy targets for malware, remote access, and data theft.
To build a truly safe Digital Bharat, every new phone sold in India should clearly mention its update duration and guarantee at least 4–5 years of patches. CERT-In or MeitY should publish a public update-status list, and awareness drives must teach users how to check their last patch date.

In today’s world, our lives are deeply connected to the digital space—whether it’s social media, online shopping, banking, or gaming. While the internet makes life convenient and fun, it also comes with risks. Digital safety means protecting your personal information, accounts, and online activities from cyber threats. Simple steps like using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, avoiding suspicious links, not sharing sensitive information like OTPs or bank details, and managing privacy settings on social media can go a long way. Think of your online presence like your home: you lock the doors to stay safe, and the same principle applies online. Staying alert and practicing smart digital habits ensures that your online life remains secure, enjoyable, and stress-free.

In today’s digital era, cybersecurity awareness must begin at the grassroots. I suggest introducing Digital Safety Clubs in schools, colleges, and panchayats to educate citizens about online scams, digital arrests, and financial frauds. The government can also launch a 24x7 AI-enabled Cyber Helpline Chatbot integrated with the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal for instant guidance and reporting. Regular digital literacy workshops led by police, youth volunteers, and cybersecurity experts can help prevent scams like investment frauds and sextortion. Together, let’s make Digital Bharat safe, aware, and resilient for every citizen.

In today’s world, we all use the internet for studying, shopping, and social media. But along with its benefits, there are also many risks like cyberbullying, hacking, and online scams. That’s why it is very important to stay safe online.
We should never share our personal information, passwords, or OTPs with anyone. Always think before posting anything on social media and check your privacy settings. Avoid clicking on unknown links or downloading suspicious files.
Remember, the internet is a great tool only when we use it responsibly.
So, be smart, be careful, and stay safe online.
