CERT-In under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with Cyber Buddha and hosted on MyGov, invites teenagers aged 15–17 years to showcase their creativity and awareness through the Hashtag Suraksha Cyber Security Reels Competition (Intermediate Category).
This competition empowers students to use their voice and perspective to promote cyber safety. Through engaging one-minute reels, participants can highlight issues such as online privacy, cyberbullying, secure digital payments, or reporting cyber frauds. It’s a platform to express, educate, and inspire digital responsibility among peers.
Who Can Participate
• Indian citizens aged 15 to 17 years.
• Parental or school consent is recommended.
Topics
• Online privacy and identity protection
• Cyberbullying awareness and empathy
• Safer online payments and transactions
• Reporting scams and awareness about helpline 1930
Evaluation
• Reels will be judged on creativity, clarity, originality, and relevance to cyber safety.
• The evaluation committee’s decision will be final and binding.
Prizes
• Top 3 winners: Cyber Shield Trophy, Cash Prizes, and Certificates from CERT-In.
• Top 7 runners-up: Medals and Certificates.
