Food Irradiation Units - Financial Assistance Scheme supports the establishment of multi-product Food Irradiation Units under the Integrated Cold Chain and Value Addition Infrastructure component of PMKSY. The Ministry of Food Processing Industries invites eligible entities to create irradiation facilities that enhance food safety, shelf life, and export readiness. Proposals must be submitted online on the Sampada portal in accordance with scheme guidelines dated 06 August 2024. Applicants must attach a non-refundable fee through a Demand Draft.
