Project escalation is a major factor in cost overruns. Government should go for cost plus contracts for all infrastructure projects similar to United States policy. Of cost plus. Further the chief Advisor cost should be authorised to look into State Projects also and not restrict to Central Government projects. Cost audit division should be allowed to have branches in all States with practicing cost accountants empaneled to assit the Chief Advisor cost and his team

Respected madam, Nowadays, people from economically weaker sections are suffering from various health-related diseases. Unfortunately, many of them are unable to afford the high costs of medical investigations such as CT scans, MRI scans, and other diagnostic procedures available at private hospitals. In this regard, I humbly request you to kindly consider allocating a budget for establishing government-run diagnostic scanning centers at affordable costs in all district headquarters. Such facilities would greatly benefit poor and underprivileged patients by providing timely and affordable diagnostic services, thereby improving early detection and treatment of diseases. This initiative would significantly reduce the financial burden on low-income families and strengthen the public healthcare system. I sincerely hope you will give this request your kind consideration in the interest of public welfare.

India can leapfrog global R&D with its million-strong data science talent and digital infrastructure to pivot to a global innovation engine. AI-led research can reduce costs and accelerate drug discovery, agri-tech, defense innovation, and more, offering historic opportunity to bypass legacy bottlenecks. To secure this, the Budget should fund development of indigenous, sovereign AI research toolkits, freely available to students and SMEs, and modernize CSIR/ DRDO labs via Anusandhan National Research Foundation. By simplifying complex research methodologies through AI and ensuring digital sovereignty over research data, India can democratize innovation and safeguard national interests against foreign surveillance. Focus should shift to sponsored industry projects, patenting, proving through pilot projects and commercialization from mere paper presentations. This will catalyze R&D capacity and yield monetary gains. Read more: https://www.pgurus.com/reimagining-indian-rd-for-the-ai-age/
