All citizens and stake holders of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation are invited to participate in the essay writing competition on the Theme of Mera Sapno ka Shahar i.e. “My Dream City, Na Kalala Nagarm

The citizens are requested to present the essays in the following components:

• Major Issues of the Warangal City
• What are the priorities for the Warangal City Development?
• What will be the potential smart solutions for the problems of the Warangal?
• What will be the vision and goals for the Warangal City?
• Major sectors need to be developed under Smart City Proposal?
• Areas to be developed in Warangal City?

Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation will use the inputs from the winning entries to develop the Vision and Sub-goals for the City Plan and preliminary idea of Smart Solutions and Area Based Developments.Essay can be written in English or Telugu. Essay shall not be more than 1000 words.

Essay should cover all the points mentioned above and weightage shall be given to creative, innovative and implementable solutions.

All the citizens are requested to go through the smart city guidelines before writing the essay.
Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation will evaluate the entries and the top three essays will be given the following prize money:

a) 1st Prize – Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize – Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize – Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

The last date of submission is 31st October, 2015.
