The Aluminium Association of India (AAI) has urged the Central Government to immediately implement the long-pending Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) quality norms for aluminium scrap. The association warned that the absence of strict standards is turning India into a dumping ground for low-grade, substandard global scrap, which threatens consumer safety and the country's manufacturing competitiveness.

Every citizen born in India comes under one of these 4 categories: A = Open, B = BC/OBC, C = SC, D = ST. Based on this classification, caste certificates are issued for a citizen several times during her lifetime for various purposes. Instead of issuing caste certificates, we can introduce Adhar Category of A, B, C or D that will go on Adhar Card based on the same classification. This will eliminate the use of caste certificates in the country forever. Reservations should remain the same. A child will inherit the Adhar Category of her parent(s) whichever is lower as A > B > C > D. The presence and use of caste certificates in the constitution endorses the caste system. It is child abuse and a crime to put a caste on a newborn child as she is forced to live under its burden forever without any fault of hers. Like millions of my peers across the country, I am deeply concerned about the future of our education system, particularly the severe irregularities surrounding the NEET-UG 2026 examinations. For nearly three weeks, he has been fasting to demand accountability for the paper leaks, the immense distress caused to students, and the tragic loss of young lives. His protest, supported by youth and civil society, highlights a critical crisis of faith in our national examination boards. As a student preparing for my own crucial board and entrance exams in the coming years.
