On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

Respected Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Vanakkam🙏. I am an Indian citizen who deeply cares about our nation's future. Inspired by your vision of Viksit Bharat, I have prepared a brief document titled "What Should India Do to Become a Developed Nation?" I am attaching this document for your consideration while preparing your Independence Day speech, should you find any of the ideas meaningful and useful. Thank you for your dedicated service to the nation. Jai Hind🇮🇳. Yours faithfully, Pranesh

Respected Hon'ble Prime Minister, This Independence Day, I request you to launch a nationwide movement called "One Citizen, One Innovation." Every Indian—whether a student, farmer, teacher, engineer, entrepreneur, or homemaker—should be encouraged to solve one local problem with a practical idea. Schools, colleges, Gram Panchayats, and Urban Local Bodies can organize annual innovation drives, with the best solutions shared on a national digital platform. Small ideas for saving water, reducing waste, improving accessibility, enhancing road safety, conserving energy, or supporting local livelihoods can collectively create a massive impact. Such a movement will inspire creativity, strengthen Jan Bhagidari, and encourage every citizen to become an active contributor to Viksit Bharat 2047. India's greatest strength is the innovation and determination of its people—let every citizen become a nation builder through one meaningful idea.

My Suggestion for Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s Independence Day Speech I would be proud to hear our Hon’ble Prime Minister speak about Ayurveda as an important part of India’s vision for a healthier and self-reliant Bharat. India has given the world a rich scientific heritage through Acharyas such as Acharya Sushruta, who is remembered for his pioneering contributions to surgery, and Acharya Charaka, whose work laid an important foundation for Ayurveda. Today, Ayurveda is gaining interest across the world, and even international institutions and countries are increasingly exploring India’s traditional knowledge. This raises an important question for every Indian: “If the world is willing to learn from India’s ancient scientific knowledge, why should Indians hesitate to believe in and explore their own roots?

Idea: "One Good Habit for India" Respected Prime Minister, I would like to suggest that this Independence Day speech encourage every Indian to adopt one good habit for the nation. It could be saving water, planting a tree, keeping public places clean, helping someone learn, respecting traffic rules, or reducing plastic use. If every citizen makes one positive change in daily life, together it can create a huge impact on the country. This simple message would inspire people of all ages to contribute to nation-building through small but meaningful actions. It would also be meaningful to highlight inspiring stories of ordinary citizens whose simple acts of kindness and responsibility have brought positive change to their communities. Such real-life examples can motivate people to realize that patriotism is not limited to special occasions but is reflected in our daily actions, honesty, discipline, and commitment towards building a better India for future generations for every citizen.

:"My Street, My India" transforms national development into a grassroots movement by proving that a developed nation is built through the daily civic actions of citizens in their own neighborhoods. "A nation’s transformation begins from every home, every street and every citizen.” “True development is not only measured by buildings and technology, but by the responsibility, participation and positive actions of its people.”

People nowadays don't have a fear of the law for petty crimes. They don't mind beating or hitting someone, assaulting someone, as they know they can get away with bail. Petty crimes need to be punished strongly. Otherwise, we are creating an unhealthy country

Teenagers/boys are not treating girls with respect and dignity. Boys as young as 12 years old, teenagers, and adults don't hesitate to tease girls on the roads, trouble them, and assault them. In such cases, the parents of boys should be made accountable and punished. They will learn a lesson then. I am increasingly scared to send my 12-year-old daughter out. Every day, I see youngsters on two-wheelers with no licenses roaming around schools, waiting for girls to come out, shouting at them. Their parents need to be arrested and warned.

Indians are running out of patience and getting bad of being civilized. Road Rage is increasing, and people are getting aggressive and want to quarrel over every simple thing; people don't hesitate to beat or kill someone. As we progress as a country, we are taking two steps back in terms of being civilized and having empathy for others. Our honorable PM should send a message to people to develop patience and compassion, and to treat others respectfully. Otherwise, we will be a big economy with a billion uncivilized people.
