Considering all advancing technologies that are coming up by the use of AI, I must say that it's getting important for the nation to expand ourselves in this field. However, I personally dont recommend the use of AI as it's far more detrimental than useful. Expansion of AI costs us our ecosystem, and I am not ready to give up on that. So instead of AI we should rely on physical media and actual research platforms, to keep our researching skills alive. We, humans have a brain to use, but these days AI is trying to possess everything a human should be doing. Concluding, AI can help us reduce our tasks, however overusing it may costs us our ecosystem and damage the natural constituents of this nation which are the actual gems.
Thank You for reading.

AI-assisted design of low-power arithmetic circuits (multipliers, adders) is a key opportunity at the intersection of AI and semiconductors. These circuits form the computational core of every AI accelerator, where energy consumption is now as much a bottleneck as raw compute. AI-driven design exploration can identify optimal circuit topologies, including non-binary/redundant number systems (e.g. quaternary signed-digit), enabling carry-free, low-power multiplication and addition — critical for edge-AI chips under strict power budgets.
Opportunities:
ML models trained on layout-power data to predict optimal arithmetic architectures before fabrication, cutting design iteration time.
AI-based automated verification and power estimation for low-power datapaths in domain-specific accelerators.

AI can actually optimise the semiconductor a lot better then human what i think is that making semiconductor chips with the integration of well trained AI can help a lot maybe an ideathon in which student in india can share there idea on working of it can help in giving a wode perspective on what youth think and how youth use the semiconductor and AI technology

AI and Semiconductors are creating a powerful feedback loop.
*AI for Chips:* AI is now designing chips. It explores millions of layouts in hours, predicts bugs before tape-out, and creates custom chips for specific tasks. This cuts design time from years to months and cost drastically. Text-to-Chip, where you describe a chip and AI designs it, is near.
*Chips for AI:* AI needs new hardware. We're moving beyond classic transistors to Chiplets, 3D stacked, Photonic (light-based) and Neuromorphic (brain-like) chips. They offer 100x better power efficiency and speed for AI.
*New Possibilities:*
1. Self-healing chips that fix themselves using on-chip AI.
2. AI-run fabs that boost yield by 30% via real-time defect detection.
3. Edge AI: A full LLM on a single low-power chip in your phone, no cloud needed.
4. AI discovering new semiconductor materials for faster, cooler chips.
The shift: From making chips _faster_ to making them _smarter_.

Intelligent chips are at the heart of modern technology. From smartphones and electric vehicles to medical devices, satellites, defence systems, and artificial intelligence, chips enable machines to think, communicate, and perform complex tasks. For India, developing advanced semiconductor technology is an important step towards becoming a smarter and self-reliant nation.
A strong domestic semiconductor industry can reduce India’s dependence on imported chips and strengthen the country’s technological and economic security. By investing in chip design, manufacturing, research, and skilled manpower, India can create new jobs, encourage innovation, and support industries such as healthcare, agriculture, telecommunications, automobiles, and defence.
Intelligent chips can also help build smart cities, improve energy efficiency, enable faster communication, and support next-generation technologies such as AI and robotics. Governm

AI-designed chips
AI can help automate chip architecture, circuit design, verification, and optimization.
This can reduce development time and improve performance, power efficiency, and chip reliability.
Future chips could be increasingly co-designed by AI for specific applications.
Specialized AI processors
The industry can move beyond general-purpose CPUs toward highly specialized AI accelerators, NPUs, GPUs, and edge-AI chips.
Chips could be dynamically optimized for applications such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, healthcare, cybersecurity, and scientific computing.
