Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji,
I am writing to suggest a crucial topic for an upcoming episode of Mann Ki Baat: youth empowerment through practical skill development.
While our youth are India's greatest strength, many graduate with degrees but lack the market-ready skills needed to find jobs. To bridge this gap, we should make skill-based education—covering fields like AI, digital tech, entrepreneurship, and technical trades—a core part of schooling from Class 9. We must also actively guide students toward vocational and ITI programmes.
Furthermore, I request you to urge companies to offer more internships and apprenticeships, ensuring that students from rural and economically weaker backgrounds are not left behind due to financial constraints.
Your voice can inspire millions of young Indians to focus on building real-world skills and creating jobs rather than just chasing degrees, empowering them to build a developed India.
Jai Hind.

Originally a barren, rocky hillock called Dev Dham Tekri, the local community in Indore transformed it into a lush green forest. The initiative encourages residents and devotees to plant trees in the memory of their ancestors (Pitras) for ancestral peace (pitru shanti) and environmental conservation. Over 100,000 saplings have been planted on the hill under this memorial plantation scheme.
This initiative of Indore should be replicated in every City and Town. People will contribute to afforestation and greenery they will have a sense of accomplishment. This land can also become home to thousands of stray cattle in cities and towns. People can also serve fodder to cattle in name of their ancestors or as part of Dharma or service to animals.
This will add to forest cover and support Gau Raksha and Seva.
