Delhi - Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is India's most ambitious Infrastructure programme aiming to develop new industrial cities as "Smart Cities" and converging next ...

Delhi - Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is India's most ambitious Infrastructure programme aiming to develop new industrial cities as "Smart Cities" and converging next generation technologies across infrastructure sectors. The objective is to expand India's manufacturing and services base and develop DMIC as a "Global Manufacturing and Trading Hub". The programme will provide a major impetus to planned urbanization in India with manufacturing as the key driver.

In addition to new Industrial Cities, the programme envisages development of infrastructure linkages like power plants, assured water supply, high capacity transportation and logistics facilities as well as softer interventions like skill development programme for employment of the local populace. In the first phase seven new industrial cities are being developed. The programme has been conceptualized in partnership and collaboration with Government of Japan.

The logo of DMICDC should be innovative and should echo the objective and the work being done by DMICDC.

Selected design will get a prize money of Rs.50, 000/-.

The last date of submission is 31st December, 2015.

Lotus Temple denotes Delhi
Gateway of India Refers to Mumabi
That Chimney refers to Industry
and Last but not the least tool denotes the machinery & Technology.....

Circle means that project is in india with minimum colur says calm project.
3 shapes with red one with delhi , blue one with mumbai and green one with industry / infrastructure resp.
Shapes resembles like a corridor.
Industry shape connected with mumbai and delhi.
Industry with green colour shows eco friendly.

Logo suggestion clarify and identify elements used in term of Block which is creating a sphere (Circle) circle said to no end points similar to this ambitious pro gramme,Block represent infrastructure and word Corridor from the logo highlighted as its a space where new industries get space to stand along the white space defines corridors.Orange color defines here Enthusiasm,Stimulation courage to perform best in coming future.
