It was wished by many of the genuine tax payer group(majorly employees) to see an increase in tax slabs based on the current market scenario. It was very disheartening to find out that our PF is now going to be taxable while there was no change in tax slabs. Savings are being made into our PF accounts only after paying tax. We do not understand why this double taxation. This cannot be called an employer friendly budget in any case.

The main reason for JNU type incidents is that there is no mechanism in India to access the quality of a teacher. There is no accountability though we spend a lot for higher education. A national online monitoring of teachers and higher education institutions is most needed. If one such portal is created as a part of digital India, we can cut down the expenses for higher education by at least 20 %. We can improve quality by 100%. Will you consider this suggestion?

Free LPG to 5 crore rural families @ 8 LPG cylinders/ year @ Rs 600/ cyl for 5 years will cost Rs 120,000 cr. But if they are given free readymade biogas systems instead (@ Rs 8,000 per system), it will cost only Rs 40,000 cr, giving 12 cyl equi/ year (50% more gas). Biogas is safer than LPG, will save foreign exchange and offer a Global-Warming Mitigation Potential (GMP) of 200 Mt of CO(2) equiv. p.a, about US $ 2 Billion carbon credit & generate more rural jobs. Seek an opportunity to explain

THE GOVERNMENT should make proposal regarding the minimum qualification of the group c vacancies. As it is shameful that 236 phd candidates and 2000 nearly candidates had applied for the peon post in the Lucknow shachivalaya secretariat. The government should make law that the higher the qualification better chance to get the job and make clause that all the qualification of the candidate will be counted in the merit formation for the job.As this was promised in the BJP manifesto and PM speech.

Presumptive income scheme can be made as presumptive tax. for t/o up to 30 Lacs NIL beyond 30 Lacs to 200 Lacs .5-1.5% of the turnover. This makes the scheme simple and straight forward. In any case for an individual for 100 Lacs effective rate of tax is .88 % and effective rate of tax for 200 Lacs is 1.57 %
