Electronics Sector is a critical Sector of the Indian Economy. It is one of the pillars of “Make in India” and “Digital India” programs of the Government.
Keeping in view that the Electronics Manufacturing Sector holds a great potential in the Indian context, and there has been a gap between the achievement and the potential of this sector, NITI Aayog has prepared a Draft Strategy Paper for Make in India in Electronics.
This Strategy paper titled Make in India - Strategy for Electronic Products has been uploaded on NITI Aayog’s website and can be accessed here: http://niti.gov.in/writereaddata/files/document_publication/Electronics%...

We would appreciate valuable comments and inputs on the Strategy Paper from relevant stakeholders and public at large by 15th June 2016.

China made electronic and electrical items or gadgets are of very poor quality, indian industrialist importing from china as made with their brand name should be produced in india. why people are diverting to china is non availability of labour due to scheme like narega. inspector raaz, bribe at every stage heavy tax, like excise, vat, service tax, income tax, entry tax, road tax, people are doing business in india just because they wish to survive not in the interest of country.

I feel import from china should be banned, but as per intl policy it may not be possible, India govt can fix or set some standard, if product do not match with that standard the same can not enter india, just see the quality of crackers, China rakhi and colours on holi, all should be banned from any other country these are indian festival all products should be indian. All they enter to india with very low price (mrp) of bill from china. and sold without bill. should be banned, it loss of tax.

Namaste PM and Finanance Minister,
I don't know much about china policy formulated by u,as u r repeating same mistake of UPA govt.
as per my knowledge there is imbalance in trading business w.r.t china. Chinese govt impose heavy tax on indian items and so the indian goods becomes costly. but chinese goods in india are undervalued so less tax and govt gets nothing. its black money.
why do not impose MARKET CORRECTION TAX on the Chinese Goods this will bring in some equlbrium on all item.
