To make India truly Atma Nirbhaar, and be taken seriously by China, even the US, the Prime Minister MUST change the way he operates regarding Technology Projects. Even for major technology thrusts he prefers to have Bureaucrats ( & those posing as Technologists ) run the show, e.g even for his thrust for critical Semiconductor Mfr. ( in which I am an US based Expert ) or the Railways ( I am the original designer in 2013 of the innovative yet affordable Vande Bharat Express, see attached pdf ). My recent discussions with the relevant Ministries with offers to share my Expertise have NOT been fruitful. India can do a lot more with its current limited resources if expert technologists are allowed to run the show which would result in dramatic cost & time savings as proven by the Vande Bharat ( took just 2 yrs, Tejas 35+ yrs ).
