आधारशिला का उद्देश्य बड़े पैमाने पर मेरठ के सरकारी स्कलों के बच्चों को तकनीकी क्षेत्र में बदलाव लाने के लिए नवाचारों का चयन करना है। इसका उद्देश्य भारत सरकार की ’स्टार्ट-अप इंडिया’ और ’मेक इन इंडिया’ की पहलों का समर्थन करना है।

आधारशिला के अंदर छात्रों की नवाचार, तकनीक व विज्ञान में रुचि बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ एक निर्माता बनने की सोच भी उत्पन्न की जा रही है जिससे मेरठ के सरकारी स्कूलों के छात्र रोजगार लेने की नहीं रोजगार उत्पन्न करने की सोच सके।

I am Om Kumar, a 13-year old School Student from New Delhi.
Since many years, I have been continuously working towards spreading awareness about Water Conservation. My efforts have been seen and applauded by thousands of viewers across the globe. I have got honorable recognition from Various Government and Private Organizations including the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.

I also hold a National Record which has been recognized by the INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS for posting the maximum number of videos of National Interest on YouTube in One Day. This was my initiative to mark India's 75th Independence Day - Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

I have been recently awarded the DILLI KI SHAAN Award by the publishers of Panchjanya magazine. This award was presented to me by the Honorable Chief Minister of Haryana.
