Inclusion of Petroleum Engineering paper in GATE Exam is a great step. But the Gov. must ensure that the skewed normalisation method of marks in this exam do not hamper the efforts of Petroleum Engineering graduates to get benefits from whatever least opportunities they get in this industry.

Though the crude oil prices have gone down significantly,that is not directly reflected on the Indian Petrol prices. It is a nice move, as it will keep the consumption low, and in the long run it reduces subsidy burden on the Government.

Secured All India Rank 84 in GATE 2016, but no call from any Indian Petroleum Company because of normalization with Other branches. Please resolve this issue sir. Save Petroleum Engineers. Being from best of institute of India, scored well in GATE, Vacancy in ONGC, Only issue is Recruitment process of ONGC.
