State of ITIs is pathetic in UP. In many district there are more engineering colleges than ITIs. One would expect healthy pyramid kind of structure. The reason is pathetic story on manufacturing sector. It systemic failure from in complete supply chain. Close to 50B dollars of goods being imported from China. We have to learn from services sector and how a revolution in engineering education to services supply chain has been brought about. ITIs have to tied to industrial corridor execution.

It has been observed that there is a shortage of ITI institutions across the country. Setting up more of these institutions are not only costly but takes long time to get affiliation etc. My observation is that the existing govt infrastructure is not utilized to its fullest extent. We can definitely go ahead much faster if these resources are shared with private entrepreneurs with some sort of a viable PPP project wherein the existing infra can be effectively used.

The attitude of the people need to be changed. today all will think about engineers. there is a huge gap in salary scale of ITI's & engineering employees, even though the maximum work is happening with ITI's in any company. If we change our mindset, it will be the basic platform of growth. Today, we are all in a mindset that, person who dont have money to make join their kid's to engineering is going to ITI's. that concept should change.!!!

There are annual games organized in It is and certificate is distributed to the winners by the government? What value these certificate provide to the technicians? Is there any extra help in getting Job or further education? No... We are not connecting recognitions with his future growth. All the rural raw material is available there is ignorance. There are AutoCAD, Catia, 3d graphics etc. techniques available. But that is not available to such institutions. We lacks in effectiveness measurement

When ITI peoples goes in corporates they are treated/or seen with hatred by diploma and degree holders. Skill or Job is not given due respect to ITI people. Also, there is not program to uplift their standard. We should make a plan to bring sense of equality for any profession or job. ITI technicians should given equal salary as of diploma and engineers. This will revolutionize our main work force and will create the sense of equality. Others should give extraordinary contribution to excel.

ITIs were opened with sole purpose of imparting skill development techniques to young work force unable to peruse graduation or higher studies.Over a period of time these institutes have become an agency to obtain certificates to become eligible for govt jobs. What needs to be done is to improve quality and content of training as also ensure that liberal loans are assured to students passing out from such ITIs to support their entrepreneurial efforts.Infrastructure and amenities also need to impr

i am studying in an engg college which also have ITI and DIPLOMA course what i analyse that system and student t only think about govt job for which they only make to solve some objective technical books by they do not have interest in basic skill development which will help to develop/work with new technology this is why even having so large number of ITI and POLYTECHNIC but we still talk about skill-skill.govt and organisation should about should make specified about why ITI/poly is run.
