Every individual Indian need to build an habit and urge in his mind and demonstrate in everyday activities that when other persons in this world can keep his locality/ village/ town, absolutely clean ,why cant I
Unless this is borne in mind any efforts to clan Ganga will be incomplete. Remember how BAD SURAT was converted KHUB SURAT few years back.

Sabse phle nagar palika ka role ye hoga, ki ganga kinare sthit abadi or factriyo se aane wala ganda pani ya kooda karkat ganga me na jaye iske liye pipe line or siver ka kaam ki jimmedari nagar palika ki honi chahiye...

iske baad central government, or state government ko ghani abadi wale ganga tat ke kinaro ko barabar se baat lena chahiye..

Ganga maiya ke tato pe sthit mandiro ke darshan ke liye jal yatra ki suvidha shru kari jaye.. Aisa karne se disal petrol ki khapat bhi kam hogi..

try to modify the drainage system of temples from the girbh grih in order to collect the milk and water used for rudra abhishek separately. We must explore if the milk collected in this form can be recycled back to original form. May be religious beliefs are one side but waste of such important resource who many in our country can not afford is also not good.

Saints shall encaurage temple visitors to refrain from throwing pooja items in river. NGOs can be mobilized for handling of such items and later on they can segregate these these items and sell them to recycling industries as far as possible to maintain their financial health and other waste can be sold to corporation/other clean energy industries for further processing.

Being a Biotechnologist my opinion to clean ganga river our Goverment should apply different water purifying microbes like Bacteria from Saprophytic Family, plants at four depth zones and suspended solids into the water. water purifying agents dissolve or engulf organic materials inside water which helps to make water purification . this only method can't makes our Ganga water healthy and clean we have to make some more mechanical process also.

Role of NGOs now a days have been restricted either to money or to other materials. The Govt. and NGOs with the help of great Dharma Gurus and other known people should go for a mission called "Save Ganga: Ganga Manthan", a kind of Public Awareness on larger scale.

Due to climate change and population growth, steep hike in water demand may give rise to discord in co-basin Brahmaputra nations in absence of appropriate framework for water sharing mechanism. Such framework will engender favorable environment in a well-conceived Look East Policy for SAARC & ASEAN nations in trade, commerce with economic growth in a win-win scenario for co-basin countries of Brahmaputra heralding an era of collective economic growth, peace & stability in South Asia.
