Most important is to provide connectivity to all places in India. Wi-Fi connectivity can be provided by integrating wi-fi devices with street light poles and laying cables along with electricity connection. Costs can be saved by laying fiber optic cables along the routes of Rural electrification. This will serve the dual purpose of providing electrifying villages and providing connectivity in almost same cost.

Most of the suggestions I saw were along the lines of "Go digital to reduce human interaction and thereby corruption" - are we Indians so terrible that mere human interaction causes corruption? Point to ponder!

IT IS OBSERVED THAT BUSINESSMEN COLLECT INDIRECT TAXES FROM CUSTOMER BUT THEY DON'T DEPOSIT THE ENTIRE AMOUNT TO GOVERNMENT.FOR EX. A DHABA/RESTUARANT ISSUES FAKE INVOICE TO CUSTOMERS AND CHARGE TAX FROM THEM ON SUCH FAKE INVOICES. BUT THEY ISSUE LESS NO. OF REAL INVOICES AND THUS PAYING VERY LESS VAT/ST TO GOVERNMENT.SUCH DHABAS ARE MAKING FOOL OF GOVT. AND PUBLIC.THIS MUST BE ONLINE AND INVOICE IS ONLY GENERATED IF AMT. IS PAID BY DEBIT/ CREDIT CARD EITHER OF CUSTOMER OR OF BUSINESS OWNER.

On the way towards empowering people digitally , have an idea. There is somethign calle doutsource of work to private and consulting firms so as to make them reach where exactly it is needed. The most young workforce is employed in today India is in private firm, and thats all we need young educated and motivated people who can advocate far reaching people. Outsource work on a bidding system or auctioning system by govt to the best consulting firm and analyse the result it dictates.
