Karnal has now been given the opportunity to submit its updated proposal for Smart City under Round-2 of the Smart City Challenge. Karnal Nagar Nigam invites ideas; suggestions and comments in the form of short write ups to make Karnal a Smart City.

Karnal Municipal Corporation (KMC) is conducting short write up writing competition in three categories. Citizens will have to submit answers of minimum three and maximum five questions. Answer should be written with minimum 100 words and maximum 150 words for every question. Answers can be submitted as a comment in this blog post. Answers can be written in English or in Hindi. Please do not forget to mention the name, address and phone number so that we can reach out to you. Submissions can be made in .JPEG or .PDF format.

Deadline for submission is 15th June 2016.

College: First Prize: Rs. 11100, Second Prize: Rs. 5100 and Third Prize: Rs. 2100

Other Citizen: First Prize: Rs. 21000, Second Prize: Rs. 11000 and Third Prize: Rs.5100
