“Setu Bharatam” is an ambitious program to ensure Railway Crossing less National Highways by 2019. In order to ensure safe and smooth flow of traffic, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has envisaged a plan for replacement of all the Level Crossings on National Highways by ROBs/ RUBs and replacement/ widening/ strengthening of weak and narrow bridges under” Setu Bharatam”.
Under this program, a total number of 208 Level Crossings have been identified for replacement by constructing ROBs in time bound manner. In addition, approximately 1500 bridges shall also be improved by replacement/widening/ strengthening in a phased manner.
Ministry of Road Transport & Highways invites entries from the public for suggesting Logo for “Setu Bharatam”
Last date for submission of entries: 31st May, 2016.
Selected entry will be awarded cash prize of Rs. 25000/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand only)

Declaration : The logo is completely designed by me.
Theme : With a vision to make NATIONAL HIGHWAY obstacle free, the logo depicts about the FREE FORM of road, where in any one can drive without fear of having an obstacle like the dangerous RAILWAY CROSSING. The Logo Depicts the straightness (be it a flyover or under bridge) in road across the country keeping in mind the Go-Green factor. Smooth roads with greenery. THE LOGO CAN BE MODIFIED FOR LANGUAGE & COLORS TOO.

Logo design (Improved Version) of Setu Bharatam
The logo which I have designed for the #SetuBharatam project of Government of India, I've tried to inculcate the friendship between both the countries grown over these much years.
I tried to make it #SelfExplanatory.
I got the inspiration from Ram Setu built 1000s of years ago during Treyta Yug by Neel & Nal, according to Indian Mythology.
I mixed that idea with the modern art techniques to design this unique logo.

the overhead & the underground channels for the cars and PEDESTRIANS which are lead by mahatma Gandhi for the smooth working of railway lines.holding the essence of SETU BHARATAM I
I would like to make a little contribution towards the magnificent Setu Bharatam project initiated by our government by participating in this event. As the saying goes "little drops of water makes the mighty ocean", I would like to be a part of this huge project by submitting my logo design.
