Fort City Vellore invites all its residents to participate in the essay competition for "Smart Vellore" initiative. This essay will focus on the issues faced by the residents of the city, and the likely smart solutions which can address these issues. The administration will take help from the selected entries to develop a vision statement for the city and will also define city sub goals based on it. The participants should focus on the practical, bankable & implementable ideas/solutions related to Smart City which should match the context of the city.

Structure

1. Name, Address, Ward Number, Contact Number
2. What is your Vision for Vellore? How do you want Vellore to known around world? (50-100 words)
3. Mention 1 or 2 priority area (any specific geographical area of the city) in Vellore that needs immediate attention. (50 - 100 words)
4. Identify problems and propose smart solutions for the area identified by you. (550-650 words)
5. Citizen Champion – Are you ready to be a citizen champion? How will you be part of the solution in Vellore? (200-250 words)

Language: Tamil, English, Hindi

Word Limit: 1000

Evaluation Criteria: Do-ability (50%) Innovation (50%)

Prize money for top 3 entries

a. First Prize: Rs. 25000/-
b. Second Prize: Rs. 15000/-
c. Third Prize: Rs. 10000/-
