A contest to design e-greeting templates for the festival of Diwali was held on MyGov platform. Exuberant participation was shown by citizens. As many as 1140 attractive creations were received. Out of those creative entries, 19 creations have been shortlisted. Heartiest congratulation to the winners! Following are the names and creations of the winners:

After an enthusiastic participation shown by the citizens, the results of the E-Greeting designing competition for Gandhi Jayanti are out. The contest was held by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on the MyGov platform. The competition struck the right chord as over 1300 innovative responses were received. The winners of the contests for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan organized by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation have been announced. The Ministry sought peoples’ participation in suggesting a suitable logo and slogan for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan through the MyGov platform. The contests successfully concluded on 19th September. Keeping in view the goal of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to make India Open Defecation Free - the competitions received enormous responses. More than 5000 responses received for slogan writing contest. While for logo, it was over 1600. Below are the names and details of the winners. MyGov congratulates the winners!

MyGov and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare came up with an E-Greetings designing competition for Gandhi Jayanti. On October 2, 1994, school children of Delhi moved a step forward and contributed their labour in Polio eradication. The efforts enabled India to be Polio free today. MHFW gave an opportunity to the citizens of India to pay tribute to the Father of The Nation by designing E-Greetings on the MyGov Creative Corner. More than 1300 innovative designs have been submitted by citizens. The last date of entry was 19th September 2014. The winners will be announced shortly.

Vibrant responses mark the end of contests organized by Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation came up with creative contests for its proposed scheme on the MyGov platform. The scheme will work under the envisioned ‘Antyodaya’ philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. It aims to improve livelihood of the poor and the urban poor by offering concessional loans for setting up micro enterprises, skill training and mobilization of women into self help groups and more. The all- embracing scheme is set to embark on 25th September 2014, the Birth Anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. Competitions were organized under three categories for suggesting name, logo and tagline for the scheme. Contest for suggesting a name for the scheme fetched around 2500 responses (check here).

Creative responses received for the National Digital Literacy Mission Contest

The MyGov platform introduced an innovative contest for the National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM). Citizens were called on to come up with ideas on logos, slogans and banner for the initiative. More than 1600 entries were received thereby consolidating the mission targeted at 10 lakh persons. The Mission aims to provide ICT training to one in every eligible household in selected Blocks in each State/UTW. The creative corner contest on MyGov concluded on 15 September, 2014. Inviting citizens to join contests on the proposed scheme of Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation has set up a scheme to reach out to the poorest of the poor. The proposed scheme is designed under the envisioned philosophy of ‘Antyodaya’ by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. Aim of the proposed scheme: To expand the scope of present National Urban Livelihoods Mission, offer concessional loans for micro enterprises, skill training and mobilization of women, improve infrastructure of street vendors and provide shelters for homeless. The mission starts on 25th September 2014, the Birth Anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. Contests: Citizens are invited to give in a name, logo and a tagline for the mission and win prizes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi The MyGov Creative Corner hosted a contest for Teachers’ Day E-Greetings organised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Citizens enthusiastically participated in the contest and honoured their teachers by designing E-greetings. The winners of the contest are declared and are as below:

The programme to transform India into a knowledge economy and digitally empowered society now moves a step ahead with thousands of citizens participating in the contest to design a logo for Digital India. The contest received an overwhelming response with more than 7000 entries striving to portray the vision of Digital India which is centred on three key areas, namely providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. The results of the contest will be announced shortly. Although the deadline for new submissions is closed, citizens are invited to vote for various designs till 7th September midnight.
