Respected Prime Minister, I am a concerned citizen. The 2026 El Niño is forecast to be among the strongest on record, raising risks of heatwaves, failed rains and rising food prices. I humbly request you to consider: 1. Targeted, temporary restrictions on non-essential activity during extreme heat, with income support for daily-wage workers. 2. Encouragement of kitchen, terrace and community farming, with free seeds. 3. A cap of two work-from-office days a week where remote work is possible. 4. Voluntary 10% salary cut for full-time work from home, with consent only, for people in need. 5. Free native tree seeds and nationwide youth afforestation drives, tracking survival. 6. Campaigns promoting simpler living over material wants. I have always wished to become a mother, adopt children and help people. I fear the world they will inherit. As a student, I believe that the education of young people is one of the most important foundations for the future of our country. Along with traditional subjects, students should get more opportunities to learn practical skills such as coding, artificial intelligence, digital technology, communication, financial awareness, and problem-solving. Technology is developing very quickly, and today’s students will be the ones who shape India’s future. Schools can encourage students to explore new technologies through projects, competitions, workshops, and creative activities. At the same time, education should also teach students important values such as discipline, responsibility, kindness, respect for others, and care for the environment.
