The Income Tax Department, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, invites innovative ideas and constructive suggestions from citizens, taxpayers, professionals, businesses, students, and other stakeholders to strengthen taxpayer services and contribute towards building a more transparent, efficient, and taxpayer-friendly tax administration. This participatory initiative provides a platform to share practical ideas for enhancing taxpayer awareness, simplifying compliance processes, improving digital taxpayer services, and promoting ease of compliance.

Suggestions may also focus on strengthening service delivery, leveraging emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), improving grievance redressal mechanisms, enhancing taxpayer education and outreach, and introducing innovative solutions to improve the overall taxpayer experience. A modern tax administration should be simple, transparent, and technology-driven. AI-powered virtual assistants can provide instant guidance on filing returns, deductions, refunds, and notices in multiple Indian languages. Compliance can be simplified through pre-filled returns, one-click verification, and a personalized taxpayer dashboard with reminders and status updates. A unified grievance portal with real-time tracking and defined resolution timelines will improve trust. Financial literacy and tax awareness campaigns should be conducted for students, startups, MSMEs, and first-time taxpayers. Strong cybersecurity, secure digital services, and user-friendly mobile applications will enhance confidence. These initiatives will make tax compliance easier, reduce errors, improve transparency, and support the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 through efficient, citizen-centric governance.

Dear Madam/Sir, My earnest request to you is to remove all exemptions from taxation law, make tax law simplest in the word to understand and comply. Make few tax slabs (2-3) and lower taxes. Single regime. Treat all businesses as same. No STT/CTT/AMT/MAT etc. No special rates of taxation for any income. Remove surcharges and cesses. Reduce TDS rates to just 2-3 standard rates irrespective of payment/income type. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely,

**Suggestions for a Transparent, Efficient, and Taxpayer-Friendly Income Tax System**A modern tax administration should be simple, transparent, technology-driven, and accessible to every taxpayer. The following suggestions can help improve taxpayer services while strengthening trust between citizens and the Income Tax Department.1. **AI-Powered Tax Assistant:** Introduce an AI-based multilingual virtual assistant available 24×7 to answer tax-related queries, explain tax rules in simple language, guide taxpayers while filing returns, and provide personalized reminders for important deadlines.2. **Simplified Filing Experience:** Create a step-by-step filing process with plain-language explanations, automatic error detection, and pre-filled information wherever possible. This would make return filing easier, especially for first-time taxpayers, senior citizens, and small businesses.3. **Personalized Taxpayer Dashboard:** Develop a unified dashboard that displays tax filings, refun

Many people ground level not aware of these terms. Probably a awareness advertisements or knowledge sharing or in papers or in medias help what we do with the collected tax. A good movie also can think of or documentary films etc. Need to validate and take it.
