On the occasion of the first anniversary of MP MYGOV, “e-Yuva”, a youth interactive session was organized at the Makhananlal Chaturvedi University on July 31, 2018. The objective of the session was to create awareness to bridge the gap between youth citizens and the government.

In an attempt to spread awareness about conservation of water, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation launched a contest named as “JalBachao, Video Banao, PuraskarPao” from 10th July 2018 running till 4th November, 2018.

National Culture Fund under the aegis of Ministry of Culture initiated the competition for Logo and Motto of the National Culture Fund (NCF) on the MyGov platform from 10th July 2015 to 10th August, 2015. The contest recorded sizable participation with total 259 submissions.

An online Quiz on Freedom Struggle was conducted by Ministry of Defence in coordination with MyGov from July 26 to August 6, 2018. The Quiz received an overwhelming response, and witnessed participation more than 51,000.The top 100 participants of this Quiz are as furnished here under:

To motivate the Telecom Skill ecosystem, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Telecom Skill Excellence Awards was instituted by Department of Telecommunications (Ministry of Communications) in 2017 with an objective to reward annually, the successful telecom skilled people for their special contributions in the areas of Telecom Skilling, Telecom Services, Telecom Manufacturing, Telecom Applications in deploying telecom dependent sectoral solutions for different fields such as agriculture, commerce, health, education etc.

Launched in 2015, Skill India Mission under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has benefitted more than 1 crore people annually, paving the way for India to become the Skill Capital of the world. Its three most significant interventions; Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme and Industrial Training Institutes has transformed the skilling ecosystem and helped millions secure a better livelihood.

Indian Railway Station Development Corporation (IRSDC) had conducted the ‘SRIJAN’ contest under the aegis of Indian Railways for implementing low-cost-high-impact ideas on its station redevelopment projects, the logo design and punchline creation contest. All three were crowdsourced through the MyGov portal.

The success of a nation always depends on the success of its youth and it is the Skill India programme that can evolve a skilled nation. Skill India Mission, launched on July 15, 2015 was envisioned by our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to empower the youth of our country with specific skill sets, making them employable and productive in their work environment.
