I attach some feedback to the Draft National Policy. I would like to add that I find it overall well-rounded, thorough vision for the future of skills and entrepreneurship in India.

4.2.12: The human resource requirements of the country will be addressed by conducting the survey for assessing requirement of skilled person in each sector. Training providers will be incentivized and Government schemes designed to enable the workforce to benefit from the requirements of the industry and the country’s strategic priorities including flagship programmes. This will ensure that the supply of skilled workforce are relevant to the needs and can be easily absorbed into the job market.

4.1.7 The Prime Minister’s Skill Development Fellow scheme will be introduced through which talented, young individuals should be selected from sector-wise (Automotive, IT, Leather, Plastics, Rubber, etc) through a highly competitive process. These Fellows will work with the State and District administration as well as local vocational training providers to spread awareness about skill development, identify the local needs of the region and steer the skill development efforts.#SkillDevelopment

4.1.6 By conducting awareness campaigns/conferences on skill development and success stories to be circulated in electronic & print media through existing post offices and Citizen Service Centres (Common Service Centres – CSCs) for changing of negative perception and mobilisation of candidates for training to the industrial requirement. The support of local agencies / NGOs/ Institutions who are working in the field can also be utilised.#NationalPolicyforSkillDevelopmentandEntrepreneurship

used clothes and books shops can be established at distt.HQs to facilitate needy and to practice of passing by the useless item to the next level.these shops can be set up and managed thr corporate NGOs .books shops can be computerised to see real time availability of book required at any other center.similarly needy people can live their life in a better way by used clothes.services can be minimally charged to become self dependant.to this we need to train librarian and salesman.

All the programs to be launched, must be in accordance with the need of country and sustainably managed. It shouldn’t be implemented just for the shake of immediate benefits, which may culminate into fetal results in due course of time………
