इतिहास लिखने वाले हमारे इतिहासकारों को प्रणाम,आधा अधूरा ज्ञान बाटने हेतु धन्यवाद।।

Kamladevi Chattopadhya was one amongst unsung patriotic leader. She was the one who worked for the upliftment of socio economic status for women . She brought Indian crafts, handloom etc...
She was well known Social activist. At one period she lost elections and couldn't stood amongst Known Patriotic leaders.

Today I tell about my grandfather and great-grandfather. Shri Deendayal Awasthi My great-grandfather and his son (my grandfather) Shri Gris Narayan Awasthi were both great freedom fighters. I will tell as much as I have heard from my father about grandfather and great grandfather. Our grandfather never thought about his children, how they would be raised. How and with how much difficulty did my grandmother raise her children. In which one of her 18 year old son also died because grandfather had time for children And the grandmother could not get her elder son treated. Dada ji, he was living for the country. If I want to say my words in few words, then my grandfather gave his all in the freedom of the country, but today it hurts a lot, today there is no hearing. The dependents of the fighters are very upset today Our grandfather devoted his entire life , the childhood of his children so that future generations could live happily. But alas, his dream is only a dream.

కనకపుష్యరాగం (పొణకా కనకమ్మ స్వీయచరిత్ర). సం. డా. కాళిదాసు పురుషోత్తం. రచనాకాలం 1959-60. ప్రచురణ 2011.

వీరి రచనలు పేర్లను బట్టి ఆధ్యాత్మిక రచనలు చేసినారని తెలుస్తుంది.

నెల్లూరుకు చెందిన మరువూరు కొండారెడ్డి కూతురు పొణకా కనకమ్మ. గొప్ప సంఘ సంస్కర్త ఉప్పు సత్యాగ్రహంలో పాల్గొన్న వారిలో మహిళలే ఎక్కువ. అటువంటి మహిళలలో చెప్పుకోదగ్గ వ్యక్తి కనకమ్మ గారు. తనతో పాటు తన కుటుంబము మొత్తం సత్యాగ్రహం పోరాటంలో పాల్గొనేలా చేసింది. ఖద్దరు ప్రచారం చేసింది. నెల్లూరిలో అక్తొబరు 18 న, విజయదశమిరోజున కస్తూరీదేవి బాలికా పాఠశాలను స్థాపించింది. సాహిత్య రంగములో కూడా ఎంతో కృషి చేసింది. రాజకీయరంగంలో వీరికి ద్రోణంరాజు లక్ష్మీబాయమ్మగారి సహకారం లభించింది. 1930 లో సత్యాగ్రహసందర్భంలో జైలుకు వెళ్ళారు. కొంతకాలం జమీన్ రైతు పత్రిక నడిపారు.

పొణకా కనకమ్మ (Ponaka Kanakamma) సుప్రసిద్ద సంఘసేవిక. ఈమె నెల్లూరు పట్టణంలో గల కస్తూరిబాయి మహిళా విద్యాకేంద్రమును స్థాపించారు. ఈమె జననం-10, జున్, 1892. మరణం-15,సెప్త్తెంబరు1962.

yes! my grandfather mr.Kalandanhaji who is 103 was a freedom fighter who didn't registered for pension or anyother.whenever i ask him why he used to say " i fighted for nation not seeing a life infront or fortune "
