Let's raise awareness about our freedom struggle & the unsung heroes associated with it. It’s time that the contributions of fighters like Veer Gundandhur, Velu Nachiyar, Bhikaji Cama, etc. see the light of the day.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में जिन्होंने संघर्ष करके आज देश को ऊंचाइयों की तरफ पहुंचाया है उनको हम सादर नमन करते हैं और उनके योगदान को हम कभी नहीं भूलेंगे और इनकी जो यादें हैं हमको ग्राम स्तर तक पहुंचाने की आवश्यकता है किस प्रकार के संघर्ष हुआ है इसको प्रत्येक ग्राम पंचायत स्तर तक पहुंचाने की आवश्यकता है ग्राम पंचायत स्तर तक यह बात पहुंचेगी हमारा स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के सेवा देश कैसे आजाद हुआ कैसे लोगों ने संघर्ष किया तब जाकर के देश में राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पित भाव की भावना जाग्रत होगी।

Hero of ‘Gujdu Revolution’
Born on 1st of August 1905 in Uttrakhand in villageKanda, BironkhalGarhwal; Ram Prasad is best known for his leading role in ‘Gujadu Revolution’ which is also called ‘Bardoli of Garhwal’, ‘establishing ‘Sevadal’ (सेवादल) training camps in Garhwal and Kumayun’, ‘Boycotting GovernermalcomeHelley’, ‘leading an attempt to coup British administration of Lansdowne Garhwal’, He also played an equally important role in connecting Garhwal region with rest of the country by road network and started financial inclusion of Garhwalwith several co-operative societies and co-operative Bank branches. He was incarcerated 7 times by British government and spent almost 10 years in different jails of the country right from Lahore, Kolkata to Bareilly, Moradabad and KotdwarGardhwal.

मेरा निवेदन है कि 2000 की नोट पर नेताजी।1000 की आगामी नोट पर, कोई और सेनानी की फोटो के साथ छापी जाए और सभी सेनानियो के नाम पर हर क्षेत्र में योजनाएं तथा उनके नाम का उपयोग किया जाए।

PINGALI VENKAYYA
Pingali Venkayya, a fervent freedom fighter and the man who designed the Indian national flag, was born on 2 August, 1876.
Venkayya joined the British Indian Army at the age of 19 and took part in the Anglo-Boer war in Africa.
It was during the war that Venkayya met Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and formed an association which would last for more than 50 years.
The present tricolour was adopted just days before India's independence, on 22 July, 1947
At the Kakinada conference of the Indian National Congress, Venkayya conceived the idea of a national flag back in 1921.
Venkayya died on 4 July, 1963 in Vijayawada.

Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, also known as Bacha Khan, was a Pushtun leader of the Indian independence movement.
He was a political and spiritual leader known for his non violent opposition towards the British Raj in India.
Khan was a lifelong pacifist and devout Muslim who strongly opposed the partition of India. He actively supported the Quit India Movement and Non-Cooperation Movement
He passed away on January 20, 1988. He will always be remembered for his non-violent resistance to the British's away over the country and a devout follower of the great Mahatma Gandhi.
