The launching of this project by Indian Government is a major milestone in our IT history.The initiative will mark a paradigm shift in the way the citizens interact with the govt and vice versa.Although it started with a maximum limit of 1GB memory but the recent modification has made it more advantageous as more data can be uploaded.The problem of caring paper work everytime will now be replaced by just simply downloading the uploaded file wherever neccessary which would save both time & paper.

Digital locker is smart idea in digital india. But before thinking of Digital locker, we should have to think about network services provided by service provider i.e. it's too slow & expensive for lower middle class. Digital locker should be based on all the things, datas, ideas, & basic information in hand of common people. Digital Locker has to be based on optimum use of time & resources without disturbing other necessary works. This will expand their scope of knowledge & information.

Sir, kindly make updating of voter card details such as name, address & constituency etc., same as Aadhar card updating and can be downloaded online like e-Aadhar card make it is e-voter card so that we need not go to the concerned office for this work, everything like uploading of photo and documents can be done online through digital locker where we have kept our documents. Every time when there is correction in such documents we can update the same online by uploading relevant documents.

Make it mandatory for all issuers to automatically issue an electronic copy of the document into the person's digilocker by asking for the person's aadhar no at the time of form fillup. So if a person mentions his aadhar no in the form then system will automatically save electronic copy in digilocker while a hard copy is issued by the department. E aadhar is an excellent example

Hello, the first Issued document that should be there in the digilocker should be the e-aadhar letter automatically saved. The first issuer should be UIDAI. next should be the Income tax department and e-PAN card letter. 3rd should be the election commission and the e-Voter card letter. the digilocker is an excellent initiative but it only help the majority only when it is easy convenient and automatic. the above Issuers should be there by default

During the sign up process-
- There should be clear instructions on the sign up page about the acceptable format of passwords, i.e. at least one upper case letter, lower case letter, symbol and number should be used in password. Without instructions it becomes irritating to modify and retype two-passwords every time after hitting the "submit" button.
- Test of availability of a username should be done right after an username is entered.
- There need to be more FAQs about tech errors.
