Varanasi is Known for its craftwork in India, Mostly people specially from Minority communities are engaged in this work.But their economic conditions is not good.The government should ensure their income and they should be provided loan for their work. Though government has already started 'WEAVER'S CREDIT CARD' scheme,but it is still miles away to reach in the needy hands.For this purpose government should established advisory board to ensure the success of this scheme.

The government can try buying manufactured goods from these handloomers and then sell them in the market, like it is done in case of farm produce. This will ensure that handloomers get their money and coustomers get quality.
