1) Trade centre & Museum should be connected to public transport.

2) It should be spacious and if possible, it should be designed by a interior designer

3) All airports in India should have Indian made / traditional items shop in duty free zone, which should have local made traditional items. This will attract tourist / travelers, mainly foreigners.

4) Same way all major railways stations should have a shop.

People value goods when they have a brand associated with it? Why do we buy swiss chocolates or swiss watches, because they have a brand associated with it. Govt should actively promote branding of Varanasi as well as our traditional products using various media and train and help the manufacturers brand their products and enhance quality also.. Most importantly tell the story as to why these products are unique. this will help increase the value and sell more

Sir I think we should maintain a beautiful modern museum with traditional style of working on handloom machines. The way things are made manually.
Finally make a display of finished product as a beautiful modern gallery at appropriate price may be little high to gain some foreign exchange and use it for society.

I just want to say that in every government school in villages specially should have open a library like as SUCHNA KENDRA in cities..... Its should help to poor and backword students those are live in village and they are not able to purchased books but they want to study with standard book....

Government of India is setting up of a Trade Facilitation Centre and a Crafts Museum to develop and promote the handlooms, handicrafts and silk products of Varanasi and to provide necessary help to weavers, artisans and entrepreneurs of Varanasi for boosting their marketing activities in domestic as well as international markets and carry forward the rich tradition of handlooms at varan is a good planning of gov but I kindly notice to gov that there is difficult y face by weaver in his life

make in india को सफल बनाना है तो यह तरीका भी अपनाये_ छोटे-छोटे कस्बों मे नगर पंचायत(चेयरमेन) का दायरा बडा दे जैसे कि यदि कस्बे करीबी गाँवों को चेयरमेन चुनाव मे जोड लिया जाये तो वह चेयरमेन छेत्र मे जोडे गये गाँवों का भी विकास तीव्रता से सम्भव हो सकेगा| यदि यह प्रक्रिया अभी अपनाते है तो बेहतर परिणाम मिलेगे क्योकि यू.पी. मे ग्राम पंचायत के चुनाव आने वाले है इसलिए जल्द घोसणा करके नगर पंचायत का छेत्र बडाकर उसमे पास के कई गाँव सामिल कर दिये जाये तो बेहतर परिणाम मिलेगा तथा विकास तीव्रता से करा सकेगे|

There are online platforms like villcart.com and exclusivelane.com where the handloom makers can directly sell their products. So, I suggest that these people should be educated in using internet to sell their products. That way, both the buyers, the workers and the technical startups of India will benefit from this whole process.
