For #Vadodara Being a #smartcity,In my opinion,Surat is Best example.If #Vadodara follows Development model of surat...surely it will lean in direction of #smartcity in next 5 years...Otherwise i don't see any chance of becoming #smartcity looking into current political situation in #vadodara. One Example..#Vadodara should start cleaning at nights like Surat to make it clean city...Where in #Vadodara door to door fecility has failed on which every citizen of #Vadodara will agree Unanimously..

1) select one new area and develop that area in which all Modern amenities are there.
2) Develop that area by PPP model.
3) Most important is Give more FSI because High rise buildings is attraction of modern city.
4) Do Slum free city
5) Construct high rise building and give flat to all families who lives in slum area.
6) " GROW MORE IN LESS LAND " by constructing high rise buildings.

2>Well defined transportation infrastructure -Fast Vadodara
3>Plantation on both the side of roads as well as in the divider as well -Green Vadodara
4>Remove unauthorized shops off roads -Spacious Vadodara

6>Educational institutes for building future -Skilled Vadodara
7>Hospital and medical research center -Healthy Vadodara
8>Strong rules&regulations-Safe Vadodara

Improving the traffic control system.because the traffic and the drivers over here dont follow the rules properly.Rather they dont know some rules too.(for example: the traffic being crowded on the traffic signal on left hand side ;while the people who want to go left have to wait until the signal is green as they have no place to go left.)So strict actions against such people who dont follow traffic rules and proper hoardings everywhere,proper traffic control system is my suggestion.

By all these things, we can make our city, #Vadodara city into a #SmartCity.

We need to improve the technology of the city. For that we have to improve the internet service from low speed to high speed at low cost. because of that we can improve the IT and tech of city.
And then the last thing is business. We can improve the business by any way after fulfilling of above three tasks. In business, all kind of business like construction, and all that things.

after providing good water, smart tech and sustain energy, we need a good business to improve its smartness. we can purify water easily but can't make energy sustain. So we can use wind farm or solar farms in the city. It should be compulsory to have solar panels for multinational company on their roofs to get the electricity.

If we want to make #Vadodara a #SmartCity, firstly we have to improve the quality of water, energy and tech of the city.
If we can provide all the people good water, sustainable energy and fine tech for their uses, then there is no need to make it more smarter. Just improvement in tech, water and energy can make it smarter.

the most important thing is the VISHVAMITRY RIVER FRONT.if we make it soon then this will change the face of city.
also i would like to suggest that if we make top building of 20-30 floor near that RAJMAHEL ROAD where so many slums are present by removing it that will really make city beautiful.also that top building will use for bunji jumping u know like other countries did.also we can start motor boat if the river front will happen.

for cleanness we have to put dustbin at certain distances and maintain it daily that will help the city clean.also we have to get rid of these street dogs, cows.next is infrastructure.if we make big buildings beautiful park then this will helpfull for city.and last smart city is not completed without free high speed WIFI.
