The world is changing in significant ways, and India's youth are poised to make the most out of it. The Youth are action-oriented, having the ability to think creatively and influences positive change across society. Youth are at the fore-front in using technology in all spheres and serves as a critical component in the larger vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Hence, there is a need for introducing new policy which can suggest appropriate policy interventions taking into account the impact of digital technology on education, work & employment, how the society will experience the fast paced changes and how full or needful engagement of the youth will create a responsible society, very well led and placed on the track of process & development.
Accordingly, the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Government of India has drafted the National Youth Policy 2023-32(NYP 2023-32) with the vision to synergize the hopes and aspirations of India's youth to enable harmonious growth of society; to harness the energies of youth more effectively towards inclusive economic growth & responsible governance; and to build an enabling environment where youth can come together, persevere, and work relentlessly with their utmost strength towards the making of a new India.
In order to ensure the participation of the stakeholders in policy making process, the Department of Youth Affairs seeks comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP 2023-32 from all stakeholders.

I want to suggest how to improve youth employment opportunities in India. Look at preamble”..resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN DEMO-CRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens: JUSTICE, social, economic and political;.” Is social justice between different states happening? No. Only Karnataka,Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat are cornering all new and big industry investments. Central government should set agenda of country & divert agenda to bring job creation to central focus more and start state wise competition though publication of data on how many new SME, big industries came in each state as month wise trend metric. Also publish the metric on ease of doing business monthly. Have some more metrics and publish. Then declare one day in the year as Indian Youth Industry Day based on youth employment where give awards to different states on best performers of jobs creators in their respective states. Of course states must be divided into two categories Big and Small.

Quality Education: Ensure access to quality education for all youth, focusing on skill development, vocational training, and digital literacy to equip them for the evolving job market.
Employment Opportunities: Create initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, internships, and job placements to reduce youth unemployment rates.
Health and Well-being: Develop programs to address mental health issues, provide affordable healthcare, and promote a healthy lifestyle among young people.
Inclusivity and Diversity: Encourage equal opportunities for all regardless of gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic background, promoting diversity and society
Arts and Culture: Support creative expression through arts, culture, and sports programs to foster holistic development and a sense of identity.
Youth-friendly Policies: Involve young people in policy-making processes to ensure their needs, concerns, and aspirations are represented.
Before asking suggestion from Youth, the central government should assure that suggestion of youth which are faced daily by us shoukd be taken in consideration and not in Timepass or Unacknowledged.
Sir first the problem faced by us is unemployment and suppose if any recruitment vacancies arrive the appllication fees are very high awhich is around 1200 to 1500 to UR, OBC and EWS and rest are exempted. Such application fees are much high and according to me its a discrimination and unjustice. I request to org to give equal rights to youths atleast to participate in compitetion. Though this suggestion to be considered an most Imp factor or problem faced by todays youth like me who is facing difficulties to apply for any vacancies or be a part of compitation.
We need the youth to develop the habit of reading in the Libraries. The Digital Mode of reading has reduced the utilization of the libraries . Reading in the libraries has very many benefits, which the learners are missing, these days. Students should be motivated, by their teachers , in doing so, and, their evaluation of the respective examinations, should be based on their reading of books in the libraries of respective schools and colleges. The nos. of books issued , from the libraries should be made compulsory part of curriculum studies. Teachers should be acquainted, with the respective subject books in the libraries, such that they may refer and guide their students accordingly. Teachers should also, suggest , for books which can be procured accordingly, in the libraries, from time to time.
