Proposed By: SHREYA SAXENA Objective: To create a universal medical ID card for every citizen, linked to a central database containing their complete medical history. This card would simplify healthcare access, improve diagnosis accuracy, and enhance emergency responses. The Medical ID Card would provide immediate access to comprehensive health data, improving both patient care and operational efficiency in the healthcare system. It would enhance emergency care, reduce medical errors, and provide a more efficient and secure way to manage personal health information. Thanks

I would like to draw your attention towards a homeoepathy doctor who would check the pulse and cite the date of delivery of a pregnant woman. This form is just another form of medicine, practiced to some extent and I am sure being followed too. To say wrong or right , I am not competent but yes any form of medicine that cures has to stay for good.

Unani medicine is a comprehensive, centuries-old system of healing that continues to be practiced today. While it offers a unique, holistic approach to health, integrating lifestyle, diet, and natural remedies, it is important to critically assess its practices and seek proper medical advice, especially for serious or chronic health issues.

The out of pocket expenditure in India is around 40%, while the rural areas still lacks the sufficient no of doctors (70% doctors cater in urban areas), the spread and awareness around the benefits of Unani medicine has became the demand of the time. Creation of Min of Ayush is step in right direction. The need of the hour is to tackle the skepticism around the use of Unani medicine by promotion more research and development in this area. The one possible solution can be to create a centre of excellence in every district hospitals of India. The other steps are - 1. Awareness - by using social media and short videos along with taking help of Asha workers. 2. More funding for R&D by engaging private hospitals, NGOs and other private institutions. 3. Providing telemedicine services in Unani medicine.
