The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to share their constructive suggestions and innovative ideas through the initiative "Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI".

This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.

Participants are encouraged to submit their suggestions on areas such as strengthening the Chartered Accountancy profession, promoting economic development, enhancing transparency and good governance, leveraging technology and innovation, improving financial literacy, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

The objective of this initiative is to encourage meaningful public participation and harness diverse perspectives to help build a stronger, more transparent, innovative, and future-ready Chartered Accountancy profession while contributing to an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem for the nation.

Idea: "CA for Bharat" – Mandatory Rural & MSME Outreach Programme Require every CA student (during articleship) and practicing CA (as part of CPE hours) to complete fixed annual service hours helping MSMEs, farmer producer organisations, and first-generation entrepreneurs in Tier 3/4 towns with bookkeeping, GST compliance, and financial literacy. Track participation via a digital ICAI portal with OTP-verified beneficiary confirmation. Why it matters: Most CA training stays urban and corporate-facing, while a huge share of India's MSMEs remain informal due to lack of affordable professional support — limiting their access to credit and formal schemes. Impact: Wider MSME formalisation, better credit access for small entrepreneurs, grassroots training for future CAs, and stronger public trust in ICAI as a nation-building institution — directly supporting financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and Viksit Bharat @2047.

भ्रष्टाचार बंद करो सर, हर सरकारी हॉस्पिटल और प्राइवेट हॉस्पिटल अन्य सरकारी विभाग के बाहर QR कोड वाली पब्लिक रेटिंग सिस्टम लागू की जाए। जब अफसर को पता चलेगा कि उसकी नौकरी, उसका प्रमोशन पब्लिक की रेटिंग से तय होगा, नेता की चापलूसी से नहीं, तो वो पब्लिक को मालिक समझेगा, पब्लिक रेटिंग लागू कर दीजिए सर ताकि हम सीधे आपको बता सकें कौन अफसर ईमानदार है कौन भ्रष्ट है। धन्यवाद 🙏
