The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to share their constructive suggestions and innovative ideas through the initiative "Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI".
This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.
Participants are encouraged to submit their suggestions on areas such as strengthening the Chartered Accountancy profession, promoting economic development, enhancing transparency and good governance, leveraging technology and innovation, improving financial literacy, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The objective of this initiative is to encourage meaningful public participation and harness diverse perspectives to help build a stronger, more transparent, innovative, and future-ready Chartered Accountancy profession while contributing to an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem for the nation.

As a student of icai I suggest that icai should launch an app or portal using artificial intelligence for articleship students where students can get help in their articleship they can tell reality abt articleship nd they can learn from that like in articleship seniors tell what u need to do but not tell how to do nicely so students can help in that All i want to say is that a addition of a portal name ICAI sang articleship where students can get help in various aspects like long work hours, not understanding of assignment conpletion

As a CA Intermediate student, I would suggest that ICAI focus more on making the learning process practical, engaging and student-friendly. Students would benefit from more real-life examples, case studies and practical applications of the concepts taught in the syllabus, along with shorter topic-wise revision modules and more interactive doubt-solving sessions. It would also be helpful to have regular guidance from qualified CAs about career opportunities after CA, different fields of specialisation and the skills students should start developing at the Intermediate level. More mock interviews, communication workshops, mentorship programmes and industry interaction could help students build confidence alongside their academic preparation. I also feel that introducing students to emerging areas such as AI, data analytics, automation and technology in finance at an early stage would help us become better prepared for the changing professional environment.

My suggestion is to implement a more practical based learning process or some new process of giving some practical exposure of the industry ,specially students preparing for intermediate exam who are just getting the bookish knowledge the kind of get Panick after clearing intermediate exam. Also other than this CA course should slowly include some Ai workshop that should help CA students to learn more usage of AI

My idea is "ICAI Student Support Tracker"–Making Student Grievance Resolution Transparent.
As a CA student, I believe ICAI can make student support more transparent and responsive. Students often face issues related to registration, examination forms, admit cards, certificates, study material, practical training and other administrative matters. After submitting a query, they may not know its current status or which department is handling it.
I suggest introducing an “ICAI Student Support Tracker” within the student portal. Every query could receive a unique ticket number, allowing students to track its progress through simple stages: Submitted→Under Review→Forwarded to Department→Information Required→Resolved.
The system could also show the latest action and final resolution.
A student who raises a genuine concern should not have to wonder what happened to it; they should be able to track its journey until resolution.
This can improve transparency between ICAI and it's students.

Online CA Foundation Examination
ICAI could introduce a secure computer-based CA Foundation examination at authorized examination centres.
Key features:
Digital question paper and answer interface
Secure student login and identity verification
Automatic submission and saving of answers
On-screen timer and navigation
Digital rough-work facility
Strong cybersecurity and backup systems
Automatic evaluation for objective questions
Pilot testing before full implementation
Benefit: It could reduce paper usage, simplify exam administration, speed up evaluation, and provide students with a modern digital examination experience.

This is a wonderful and very practical proposal that speaks directly from a student's heart.
Adding tech training will help CA students stay updated with modern tools just like other tech fields.
Also, having mentorship from experienced CAs and proper mental wellness support will really help reduce exam stress.
The best part of this suggestion is the job support for intermediate-qualified students who have completed articleship.
Many students know a lot and have great practical experience, but they feel stuck or undervalued if they cannot clear their finals due to life hurdles or multiple attempts.
If ICAI provides a recognized path or placement cell for them, it will give them financial independence and the respect they truly deserve for their hard work.
These steps will make the CA journey much more secure, balanced, and positive.

My idea is to introduce “CA Saathi”, an ICAI-supported initiative that connects small businesses, startups and aspiring entrepreneurs with Chartered Accountants for structured financial guidance.
Many entrepreneurs have a good business idea but lack knowledge of accounting, taxation, cash-flow management, financial planning and internal controls. This can create problems as the business grows.
CA Saathi would provide stage-wise guidance — from starting a business and maintaining proper records to managing cash flow, preventing fraud, understanding financing options and preparing for expansion.
Technology could be used to provide personalised learning modules, compliance reminders, financial-health checklists and access to professional guidance. Special focus could be given to first-generation entrepreneurs and businesses in smaller cities.
This initiative would expand the role of the Chartered Accountant from being primarily a compliance professional to becoming a long-term

Hello my idea is that currently india has the biggest human resource that is youth of India and the goal of country is to become viksit bharat @2047 by utilising the minds of young people india can achieve its goal but there is a problem in today's world that the youth is facing challenges in their life because of the mental stress and draining of their energy in non productive things for these problems the vast social media content consumption is responsible because irrelevant consumption of information is dangerous for youth .
The government has taken the very good action that is banning the tiktok and PUBG game . So we need the regulated alternative apps of currently dominating social media so if I 'm student or in academic and I want to detach myself from the negative effects of social media and want to contribute in my nation building my energy should be channelise in right direction through the regulated consumption of information and it is my choice in choosing the content.

Making CA Training Fairer, Wider in Opportunity and Ready for Today's Work
As a student, I have three suggestions that touch different stages of CA training: how stipends could reflect a firm's actual capacity, how industrial training and the length of articleship could work better for both students and principals, and how the Advanced ITT course could keep pace with AI-driven work.
