The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to share their constructive suggestions and innovative ideas through the initiative "Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI".
This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.
Participants are encouraged to submit their suggestions on areas such as strengthening the Chartered Accountancy profession, promoting economic development, enhancing transparency and good governance, leveraging technology and innovation, improving financial literacy, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The objective of this initiative is to encourage meaningful public participation and harness diverse perspectives to help build a stronger, more transparent, innovative, and future-ready Chartered Accountancy profession while contributing to an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem for the nation.

The accounting, taxation, audit and corporate compliance environment in India is rapidly becoming digital.
GST, e-invoicing, e-way bills, TDS, AIS/TIS, income-tax filings, MCA filings, digital signatures, banking transactions and other regulatory data are increasingly generated electronically.
At the same time, Artificial Intelligence and automation are becoming part of professional practice.
ICAI has already taken significant initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, including AI training, AI-based professional tools, AI innovation programmes and discussions around AI in audit, taxation, compliance and governance.

PROJECT PROPOSAL: "PROJECT MEGA-PODIUM" – THE 200-MEDAL NATIONAL OLYMPIC TRAINING HUB
1. Executive Summary
As India positions itself to host the 2036 Olympic Games, this proposal presents a blueprint for a self-sustaining, high-volume, elite sports city. Operating under a robust Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework, this complex moves away from bureaucratic management to an athlete-led model inspired by the extreme fitness and discipline of icons like Virat Kohli. The initial phase will act as a strategic national bet: achieving a targeted 200-medal haul at the Olympic Games, upon which the hub will transition into India's permanent, official home for sports excellence.

• Fully Integrated Living & Training Ecosystem: The complex operates as a comprehensive residential sports city. Selected athletes will live, eat, train, undergo medical recovery, and receive academic/career support entirely within the secure campus.

I am Rukshar Shahid, a CA Intermediate student, and I am pleased to submit my suggestion under ICAI’s “Have an Idea, Share with ICAI” initiative.
My idea, “The Paper Ends. The Learning Shouldn’t,” proposes a timely Official Answer Framework after each examination paper, wherever practically feasible.
The purpose is simple: to help students understand the expected approach while the examination is still fresh in their minds, enabling them to analyse, learn, decide and improve before the result arrives.
This is not a suggestion for predicting marks or replacing the final evaluation. It is a humble attempt to create an additional academic bridge between attempting an examination and learning from it
I sincerely hope this idea can contribute, even in a small way, towards making every examination a more meaningful learning experience for CA students.

CA is one of the most leading professional career in india. But now a days the demand for ca is more but it's supply is less
So in order to achieve this excess demand ICAI should make some changes in its course.
ICAI should shift it's articleship after ca final because many students loose their touch in studies and in some cases when students start to earn their interest in studies won't last for long and they make a mindset that " what they are earning is enough for them " or any other circumstances may occur from which they won't be able to continue their studies for final exam and may have to quite their course
So if articleship is done after ca final exam students would be having full conceptual knowledge and would be able to understand work more efficiently and can be more productive. Where as after intermediate they would have learnt half of the ca and they won't be able to understand the work much effectively .
So I hope ICAI institute will consider this JAY ICAI CA

Title: "Green Score Card" System for MSMEs
1 Problem: Small businesses (MSMEs) see sustainability as a financial burden. There is no direct financial reward for everyday businesses to go eco-friendly.
2 Solution: Introduce a national framework called the "Green Score Card" (scaled 1-100), verified by Chartered Accountants during annual audits.
3 Implementation: CAs will score businesses based on simple, verifiable green parameters:
• Transitioning to paperless/digital accounting.
• Adopting renewable energy (like solar panels).
• Proper waste management and recycling.
4 Incentives for Participation: Government should link this score card with PAN/Udyam portals to offer:
• Green Tax Rebates: Minor tax reliefs or faster GST clearance for high-scoring businesses.
• Low-Interest Loans: Banks can offer 0.5% lower interest rates on business loans to highly-rated green ventures.
Impact: It will drive millions of Indian businesses to adopt green habits voluntarily, supporting India

Myself Aditya Trisoliya, a CA Intermediate aspirant writing with gratitude to ICAI for listening us through this program under the domain 'strengthening the India's financial and economic ecosystem'. For decades, India's subsidy model relied on direct cash transfers for immediate financial aid and meeting daily consumption needs. The model 'Transforming Welfare Subsidies into Equity' proposes a structural shift of India's subsidy system of pure cash transfers to dual Subsidy-Equity plan. The model follows by continuing to disburse 60% of the funds for immediate livelihood needs while strategically investing the remaining 40% into the stock market on behalf of the beneficiaries, the government can transform millions of citizens from passive subsidy recipients into active equity stakeholders in the nation’s corporate expansion by mirroring the mutual fund structure. 1. ICAI Should provide Industrial training as option along with articleship to students after they clear ca inter.
2. Role of Principle should be reduced in transfer cases as many students face harassment at work place due to being considered and treated as cheap labour. CA Students already face lot of study pressure. Workplace in some cases adds up more unnecessary pressure.
3. ICAI should start providing mentorship and classes should be offline.
