The higher education institutions providing technical education should follow some practices:
1. Teachers should be encouraged to acquire training from nearby industries to upgrade themselves according to the industry requirements and disseminate the same among students.
2. Compulsory industrial visits and internships for students.
3. Incubation centers and project labs should be available in the college or such facilities should be within the reach of students so that they do not have to travel long distances to avail the facilities.
4. Please do not forget that we should aim to produce responsible engineers who will always have the nation as their first priority. do not run behind technical events. Include practices like yoga, meditation, games, sports, and voluntary activities to make them good human beings.
5. Give equal importance to health( physical and mental). Psychologists/counselors should be appointed compulsorily.

11. Distance learning programs & online scores to be equal to actual classes .

The Curriculum, each & every Examination (which have weightage in Marks/Ranking/Grading including Test papers, Practical testing formats, Internal assessments), other Academic aspects, etc of Institutes/Universities to be assessed regularly by Competent Authorities. Such Practice-tests/Exams & others with no weightage also, to be assessed to the extent of possibility.

University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked all higher education institutions to permit students to write exams in their mother tongue, even if their medium of instruction was English. The move is meant to promote regional languages.

The letter, written by UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar, was sent to vice-chancellors of all higher education institutions Wednesday.

Explaining the thought behind the move, the chairman told ThePrint, “The idea behind the move comes from NEP (National Education Policy) 2020, which advocates learning through local/mother tongue. Many students, although studying in English medium, find it difficult to express themselves clearly in English. This provides them an opportunity to write their answers freely.”
