The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to share their constructive suggestions and innovative ideas through the initiative "Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI".
This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.
Participants are encouraged to submit their suggestions on areas such as strengthening the Chartered Accountancy profession, promoting economic development, enhancing transparency and good governance, leveraging technology and innovation, improving financial literacy, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The objective of this initiative is to encourage meaningful public participation and harness diverse perspectives to help build a stronger, more transparent, innovative, and future-ready Chartered Accountancy profession while contributing to an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem for the nation.

ICAI can introduce more free, simple and practical online courses for students, teachers, employees, small business owners and the general public on basic accounting, income tax, GST, personal finance and digital financial safety.
These courses can be available in regional languages, with free certificates after completion. This would improve financial awareness, employment skills and responsible financial decision-making among the public.

The basic thought is simple: India's development will not come only from large companies. Millions of small businesses, first-generation entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs and young founders will also shape Viksit Bharat. Many of them have good ideas but limited knowledge of finance, taxation, cash-flow management and compliance. Viksit Bharat cannot be built only in boardrooms. It has to be built in every small business, every startup, every college and every entrepreneurial dream
My idea is simple, ICAI could create a “CA for Viksit Bharat” national initiative where CAs and CA students voluntarily conduct short financial-awareness and business-readiness programmes for young and small entrepreneurs understand the financial side of their businesses. If we can help people make better financial decisions, manage their businesses responsibly and grow sustainably, we are not just creating better businesses, we are creating a stronger economy.

I present you my idea of 'RailEdge AI' which solves train tracking failures in dead zones like tunnels, forests, and remote valleys where GPS and satellite systems fail.
Solution:
• Trackside Checkpoints: Low-cost RF receivers on signal posts detect RF transmitters installed on train engines.
• Edge Processing: Trackside ESP32 microcontrollers process telemetry data locally and relay it via cloud and cellular/RF mesh fallbacks

As a CA student spending days on audits and tax filings, the gaps between textbooks and ground realities become very clear. A few honest, practical suggestions from our training desk to strengthen ICAI toward 2047:
MSME Help Desks: Small traders in Tier-2/3 towns want to be compliant but find procedures intimidating. ICAI branches should hold weekend clinics where trainees, guided by seniors, teach basic bookkeeping, digital invoicing, and GST basics to local businesses.
Exposure to Municipal Audits: Training heavily favors private firms. Partnering with local urban bodies to place articles on short accrual-accounting rotations allows students to directly help curb leakages in public spending.
Real Audit Tech: Update IT training with hands-on practice in bulk GST 2B-vs-3B reconciliation, automated bank parsers, and data tools firms actually use.

ICAI may consider including eligible corporates and MNCs within the practical training/articleship framework and recognising relevant prior corporate experience.
Professionals starting CA at a later stage often have substantial experience in Finance, Accounts, Audit, Taxation, Controls, Risk Management or Compliance. ICAI could introduce an Experience Credit System, where prior experience is assessed based on tenure, role, responsibilities and relevance. Candidates may receive proportionate credit against the prescribed training period, subject to a maximum limit.
Implementation could include employer-certified experience letters, salary records/Form 16, job descriptions and an ICAI verification/assessment process. Any remaining training period can be completed with ICAI-approved corporates, MNCs, CA firms or other eligible organisations.
This would recognise existing industry experience while ensuring that required practical training standards are maintained.

My Comment related to CA foundation exams
In foundation only 15 to 20 percent student passes and remaining 80 percent student faces unsuccessful so ICAI get only relief to failur student like include exemption in CA foundation because student fail in one subject and repeat all 4 subject so ICAI get one relief of exemption so student only study those specific subject not all 4 subject again it is so irritating and hard in according to all 80 percent CA failure students
Please talk to your team and include exemption mode in CA final all failur student not get panic to study all 4 subject
