Nirmaan (creation), is designed as a rabbit that showcases construction and creation through
faster growth, and agility along with forward movement to characterize the contemporary Indian
highway system. The mascot’s other elements such as the cap, cape, belt and shield speak of
NHAI’s core mission of connectivity, safety, trust and nation-building. The shield’s map illustrates
NHAI’s ability to unite regions through nationwide multi-lane projects.
1. Connectivity
The symbolism of the rabbit is NHAI’s welcoming face for public interface. It shows creation,
faster growth, and building of trust. The FASTag cap, administered by NHAI’s IHMCL, is
reflective of the digital driven tolling innovation.
2. Safety
The shield imprinted with the map of India showcases NHAI’s priority to protect every traveller
on all roads of India. The thumbs-up and the blue are reflective of the reliability that citizens
repose in NHAI’s highways.
3. Infrastructure
Green signifies eco-friendly and sustainable highway infrastructure and responsibility for the
environment. The belt represents structure and discipline of the roadway network.
4. Nation Building
The bridge on the cape signifies NHAI’s contribution towards constructing connected roads with
a forward looking pace.
5. Convenience
Subsequently to the concept, RaFAST also introduces convenience for digital and contactless
tolling.

Namaste
I have given the name for moscot design as Swarajya traveler.
Swarajya (Self-Reliance & Pride): Rooted in modern India's spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India), "Swarajya" reflects national pride, modern infrastructure development, and seamless sovereignty over our roads.
Traveler (Progress & Connectivity): Represents every citizen using Indian National Highways, moving smoothly across the country with speed, safety, and modern convenience.
I have added a tiger in the moscot design as a main character,
As India’s national animal, the Bengal Tiger represents strength, agility, and modern resilience. Positioned as a friendly mascot, it symbolizes NHAI’s commitment to building world-class, robust infrastructure across the nation.
The Digital Tablet (Tech-Driven Infrastructure): The tablet displays the FASTag and GPS symbols, highlighting NHAI’s digital transformation. It points directly to the future of Indian transit—seamless electronic tolling, real-time satellite navigation, and intelligent traffic management.
The Thumbs-Up (Safety, Trust & Approval): The confident thumbs-up gesture communicates speed, reliability, and approval. It gives travelers the assurance that Indian highways are safe, efficient, and hassle-free.
The design summary
"Swarajya Traveler brings together national pride and cutting-edge digital mobility. The Bengal Tiger represents the power of India's highway network, while the tablet showcasing FASTag and GPS technology—backed by a welcoming thumbs-up—signals a fast, smart, and reliable journey for every citizen."
I would like to thank the government and NHAI team for giving this wonderful opportunity to participate
Thankyou...
